The First Economics Research Collaboration Workshop: Key Issues for the International Economics Development

The first joint online workshop aims to foster academic communication and collaboration among Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), University of Liverpool (UOL), and Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). It provides a platform for: 1) Sharing ongoing research and receiving insightful feedback; 2) Engaging in cross-institutional academic discussions to explore diverse ideas; 3) Strengthening ties for potential joint research projects and PhD supervision collaborations; 4) Building a supportive academic network to enhance both individual and institutional research impact.
There will be six papers to be presented and discussed, and two from each institution. Each paper will have 30 minutes for presentation, followed by 10 minutes for discussant comments and open Q&A. This timing ensures a thorough exploration of each research topic and fosters active engagement from all participants.
